Ms. Yu-Leng KHOR, an International geo-economics and sustainable supply-chain consultant, will present her recent work on different “No-deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation” (NDPE) indicators
Using satellite imagery she can assess the historical land-use of palm oil plantation areas in critical areas of Malaysia and Indonesia. This work develops a more nuanced and fair understanding of the different variables and contexts that impact NDPE indicators.
She also uses various approaches to help stakeholders quantify and understand their NDPE indicators. Currently, her case studies cover some 55 million hectares of production zones and is ever expanding to other locations and commodities globally.
She has advised Fortune 500 companies, regional plantation groups, business associations, NGOs and government agencies.
