Eddy Esselink

Mr Eddy Esselink, Program Manager Sustainable Development at MVO (the Netherlands Oils and Fats Industry), and currently chairman of the Dutch Alliance for Sustainable Palm Oil will make a presentation on“The European Market for Sustainable Palm Oil”on behalf EPOA.
He will share his experience on sustainable sourcing of oils and fats, energy-efficiency improvement, lowering ecological footprint, and the bio based economy. An interesting zoom-in will be proposed on the history of the debate and the progress over the years, including the role of industry, also by working together in EPOA, throughout Europe and the role of governments and NGO’s.
He will furthermore show the results obtained and elaborate on the current European PO discussions
